REACH Court, formerly known as the Rome/Floyd County Drug Court, is an adult felony substance use recovery court. We serve individuals whose substance use has directly contributed to their involvement in the criminal justice system.

Our mission is to reduce recidivism and promote lasting recovery by providing a structured, supportive, and accountable pathway toward positive life change.
What We Do
Through a collaborative approach, REACH Court helps participants address the root causes of their justice system involvement. We support our participants through:
Judicial supervision and frequent drug testing
Invidividualized substance use treatment and case management
Recovery support and community connection
comprehensive support series
Our Philosophy
We believe people are more than the decisions that brought them into the courtroom. Meaningful, lasting change develops through accountability, evidence-based treatment, healthy relationships, personal responsibility, and a deep commitment to the recovery process. By empowering participants with the tools and opportunities needed to build stable lives, we work to strengthen recovery, reduce future justice system involvement, and create safer communities.
Our goal extends far beyond program completion. We want our participants to build the skills, stability, relationships, and recovery supports necessary to move forward with purpose and successfully remain with their families and in their communities.

The Rome-Floyd County Drug Court was honored to be named at CACJ Model Court for 2025-2027! This designation recognizes our commitment to implementing best practices, achieving strong participant outcomes, and serving as a resource for accountability courts across Georgia as we continue to strengthen and advance our program.
