Floyd County E-911
Floyd E-911 provides communications for all public safety agencies in Floyd County as well as public works and emergency management volunteers during storms and disaster relief. Our objective is to respond to all calls, regardless of circumstance, demeanor or nature of call. We will route calls immediately to the appropriate agency.
911 Reminders

- If you dial 911 by mistake, stay on the line. We will need to verify there is no problem, otherwise, police will be sent to your location.

- Your house number should be clearly posted and visible from the street.

How many calls do we receive?
In 2023, the E-911 Center processed 183,468 calls and dispatched 165,100 calls for service. Some calls can be managed by the communications operator, and there is no need to dispatch emergency services.
