Now accepting books for drop off!
We accept the following items at curbside, remote sites, and the Recycling Center:

We also accept appliances, scrap metal, documents to be shredded, and books at our 24-hour drop-off located at our facility, 412 Lavender Drive.
Curbside Recycling for City Residents
Curbside recycling is provided for all City of Rome residents one day per week (the same day as garbage collection). All items collected at curbside are taken to the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center.
Recycling for Unincorporated / County Residents
Residents in the unincorporated areas of the County can bring their recyclable items to their local remote sites, or bring recyclables to our 24/7 drop-off area.
