How to Participate:
- Collect candy wrappers.
- Design and create a turkey-themed artwork using the wrappers.
- Submit your masterpiece to the Floyd County 4-H Office by November 8, 2024.
Submission Details: When submitting your artwork, please include the following information:
- Student’s Name (Individual entries only please)
- School
- Grade
- Teacher’s Contact Information
- Number of Wrappers Used
Prizes: We have exciting prizes for each age group:
- K-4
- 5-8
- 9-12
Why Participate? Did you know that wildlife often mistake candy wrappers for food? This can lead to starvation because the animals feel full but aren’t getting the nutrients they need. By reusing candy wrappers, you’re not only creating beautiful art but also helping to protect our wildlife.
Let’s make a difference together! We can’t wait to see your incredible turkey creations. For more information, please contact the Floyd County 4-H Office at 706-295-6210.
Happy crafting!
