The Rink at Ridge Ferry Park Ice Skating

As winter weather settles in around the Rome area, Rome and Floyd County residents have a chance to enjoy Rome’s newest winter tradition for a few more weeks. Due to high popularity and demand, Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation in cooperation with Atlanta Event Specialists have decided to extend ice skating at the Rink Ridge Ferry Park until the end of the January.

The rink will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the next two weekends.

“The Rink at Ridge Ferry has been extremely popular, and we thought it would be a good idea to keep it open for a few more weeks,” Todd Wofford, Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Director said. “We hope that everybody can come out and enjoy their time on the ice.”
