Status Updates
1.28.2025 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a request from Purchasing to approve Change Order #17008 for the Renovation Project at AdventHealth Stadium in the amount of $52,940.00 using 2017 SPLOST funds. These change orders have been submitted by Harbor Services, Inc., the current contractor, for existing fire sprinkler system modifications.
1.15.2025 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a request from Purchasing to approve a contract pending final legal review with Advanced Sports Group for the purpose of replacing the AdventHealth Baseball Field with Synthetic Grass covering. This requires an increase to the 2017 SPLOST budget of $662,695.00
12.10.2024 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a contract with Advanced Sports Group using Omnia Contract #R220504 for the turf replacement at AdventHealth Stadium using funds from 2017 SPLOST.
8.27.2024 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a request from Purchasing to award a bid to Sports Graphics - Field Wall Pads for AdventHealth Stadium in the amount of $101,455.00.
2.13.2024 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved a request from Purchasing to approve the pricing proposal for the Rome Emperor Field House Renovation Project from Harbor Services, Inc. in the amount of $3,912,750.00 using 2017 SPLOST funds. This vendor is a partner with the Omnia Cooperative Agreement through the Lion Corp.
11.17.2023 - Additional PDL compliance under design for clubhouse. Expected completion 2024.
3.2023 - Store expansion, Gate 6 covered canopy, and terrace enclosure completed. Projected completion of stadium improvements 2023-2024.
