Floyd County Board of Assessors
The Floyd County Board of Assessors (BOA) are a three-member board made up of Floyd County property owners, appointed by the Board of Commissioners.

The BOAs' major duties include:
- receiving property tax returns
- receiving and reviewing homestead exemption applications
- receiving and reviewing conservation use and forest land protection applications
- reviewing tax digest changes
- completing and approving yearly tax digest for submission to Georgia Department of Revenue.
The Board of Assessors hold regular work sessions each week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Floyd County Historic Courthouse, 4 Government Plaza, Suite 216. The work sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and are open to the public.
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m at the Floyd County Historic Courthouse, 4 Government Plaza, Suite 216. Caucus will be held the preceding Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Meeting agendas will be posted on the bulletin board located outside Suite 208.
