Rhonda Wallace

Rhonda is a life-long resident of Floyd County and a graduate of Model High School. She is the Senior Vice-President and Commercial Relationship Manager at River City Bank. She has been in the banking industry for over 40 years. Rhonda is married to Ronnie Wallace and they have three adult children, Bradley, Heather and Haden and six grandchildren, Kenyan, Alyssa, Alex, Samantha, Harper, and Kelbie Jo.

Rhonda is a Board Member of the Children's Open Door Home, the Rome Exchange Club, the Republican Women, and a member of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on numerous committees. She is the past chair of the Rome-Floyd County Planning Commission and a past board member of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband are members of West Rome Baptist Church.

Rhonda has received many honors for her community service. She is a 2005 recipient of the Heart of the Community, received the 2004 Woman of Excellence Award, the 2003 Wesley Johnson Leadership Award, 2001 Outstanding Club President Award and the first Female President, and in 2000 was the Ambassador of the Year for the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.

Commissioner Wallace currently represents the Board of Commissioners as the Vice-Chair. She is the Chair of the Elected Officials Committee and the Administrative Services Committee. She serves as the alternate on the Floyd County Public Safety Committee. She is the Floyd County Legislative Liaison. In addition, she serves on the Hospital Authority, Joint Services Committee, Joint Oversight Committee, and the Planning Commission.
