POLLS ARE OPEN
Polls open at 7:00am and close at 7:00pm. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-403

OFFICE OF REGISTRAR AND SUPERINTENDENT TO REMAIN OPEN
The chairman of the county board of registrars and the election superintendent shall cause their office(s) to remain open during the entire duration of each primary and election, and after the close of the polls, until completion of their duties. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-490

TABULATION, POSTING, ETC.
The poll manager shall post one tape showing the total votes cast for the precinct on the door of the polling place for the information of the public along with a copy of the provisional ballot recap sheet for the precinct.  The election superintendent shall receive the memory cards from the poll managers and proceed to verify that the envelopes are sealed, remove each memory card, and transfer the vote totals from the memory card to the election management system. BALLOT CAST REPORT DUE TO SECRETARY OF STATE
As soon as possible but not later than 11:59 P.M. following the close of the polls on the day of a primary, election, or runoff, the election superintendent shall report to the Secretary of State and post in a prominent public place the following information: (1) The number of ballots cast at the polls on the day of the primary, election, or runoff, including provisional ballots cast;  (2) The total  number of absentee ballots returned to the board of registrars by the deadline to receive such absentee ballots on the day of the primary, election, or runoff.
