Mock Precinct

Floyd County Elections invites you to a mock precinct on Friday, October 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Election Center located at 18 East 12th Street, Rome. The mock precinct will allow hands-on voter training to help alleviate anxiety and mystery on the process as an Advanced In-Person or Election day elector. A member of the election staff will explain each step of the process as the elector participates in the ballot casting process. Ballot marking devices, poll pads, and a tabulator will be setup in the same format as early voting; with a completely made-up election with made-up candidates.
