National Arbor Day

Wolfe Park offers a variety of amenities, including walking trails, basketball courts, and open spaces for community events. This event is part of the nationwide observance of Arbor Day, a day dedicated to planting and caring for trees. Don't miss this opportunity to contribute to environmental preservation and enjoy the outdoors!

Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation are observing Arbor Day with tree planting initiatives supported by International Paper. Among the planned activities, Wolfe Park will receive two maple trees. This effort aligns with broader sustainability goals and community engagement in Floyd County, which has a strong tradition of environmental preservation and tree planting programs. Etowah Park and Shaq Williams will also be receiving new trees due to this initiative.
